Apparently DU had six on the ice on the faceoff (no call).

No, DU is #3 in penalties in the WCHA while UMD is #9. DU averaging 15.4 minutes to UMD's 12.3 minutes. Coming into the weekend DU had the 2nd most penalties in the league (66).
