Well, resolved in the sense I got my keys out of the ice crusher. Had to buy a bag of ice for the weekend.

You know, my only trip to the DECC was for the '68 FF. And my memory of it was pretty favorable (anything compared to the DU Arena would look pretty good). We weren't concerned at all about a small neutral zone. Our first and only concern was kicking a little Sioux a*s, which we did 4-0 with 4 in the 3rd.

You had to be there. The keys weren't the most important thing. I very nearly got something ELSE caught in that thing.

This has been a very bad day for me. We lost Ron Santo. How this guy hasn't made into the HOF is beyond me. Like the Tribune said today "70 going on 17" as far as the Cubs are concerned. Like many, I just didn't realize how sick he was. There should be many more like him, but there probably won't.

At or near the top in offensive categories for 3b, a position not overly represented in the Hall. 7 gold gloves. Hands down the best defensive 3b in the National League at the time.
