Denver at St. Cloud Friday, 2/7/14

Re: Denver at St. Cloud Friday, 2/7/14

I love it in the mountains but it just screws up the trains here and the side streets that didn't get cleared well are like skating rinks right now. Come on boys lets get one here!!!

DU PP coming up

Chris Christie didn't cross state lines to shovel your sidewalk? Shocking.

Re: Denver at St. Cloud Friday, 2/7/14

They'd like some natural snow in Sochi. DU kills Der Strudel's penalty. Why doesn't Denver get in a bid to host an Olympics? We could have the village at Halls and Towers and. . .nevermind. Thanks, Gary.

The rooms at Halls and Towers look like a Four Seasons Hotel compared to the rooms/jail cells in Sochi.

I'm sure. It's one thing to decide not to enter the bidding for an Olympics. Quite another to win the competition and then pull an Emily Littela "never mind." IMO, the IOC is totally justified in just sh*tting on Denver for the rest of recorded time. An unbelievably bush league move.

There's still hope for Denver. My people have a call in to Pierre de Coubertin.

Back in the 1970s when the US National teams went over for tournaments in Russia, they brought their own food and drinks (water, soda, beer) on the charter. They didn't trust the Commies for any provisions figuring it could be "tainted".

5'7", 168 lb. VanVoorhis paired with 6 '2, 215-230 lbs. of muscle Didier reminds me of Salazar and Colborne playing togethher--Salazar scores and has to leap a foot off the ice to high 5 Jumbo Joe--what a pair!
