More OP annecdotes. Sport magazine had an article called "Why Goalies Fear for Their Lives." It was about Hull. And Sport got a bunch of the top goalies of the day together and asked them what it was like to face the guy. They asked one goalie if Hull had ever frightened him. He said on one occasion Bobby took an unscreened shot from the blue line. The goalie said he brought his glove hand up to make the save. . .and it hit him in the back of the glove. He said if it weren't for the fact that there were 17K in the building, he would have headed downstairs for a Molson's. Because if it had hit him, it would have killed him. He never saw it.
Come on Zucker. That was a silly penalty.
