Does it sound arrogant for me to observe how pathetic they are, copying down my bon mots, not responding here, but doing so anonymously on DG's blog? To my admittedly prejudiced eyes, that's exceptionally weak.

Hello. Todd Anderson reviewed the goal for quite a while. Probably because the goal judge missed it. In pre-replay days the huskies may have gotten screwed on that one, it was in and out in a split second.

DU lost a shot at a NC in '67 when Cliff Koroll scored on a laser backhand to untie a semi-final game with Clarkson with 9 minutes to go in the 3rd. Whistle blew. Coach Lennie Ciglarski threw a stick on the ice. And the Clarkson kid in the box came out. But. . .no goal. Clarkson scored a bit later to win the game. The DU photographer caught the shot. His photo clearly showing it distending the net above the Clarkson goalie's shoulder. No replay obviously. Lost a great chance at a title.

So what is with us that we can't get up for a Saturday game after a Friday night win? I thought maybe tonight would be different because of the break coming up. We suck when we give up the first one.

A 3 peat would have been nice. That semi-final game came after the playoff game where the Pios came from being down 4-1 after two against UND to tie and then win it in OT.

Hey, DU scores 2-1 on a Sean Ostrow rebound. Very late scores are always helpful.
