Injuries are part of our game. But it seems like every year we get more than our fair share. Last year we nearly lost a player. This year, we're working on our third string goalie. And our two most talented players may be out of the lineup. I mean, everybody has these problems. And whining about injuries is very close to whining about officiating. Still. . . .

Holy crap. JZ back on the ice. I guess no seppuku for Old Pio tonight.

In '05, DU's power play struggled mightily in the second half of the season. Then at the FF, for some reason, the DU penalty kicked off and cooked CC. I witnessed it in disbelief from the front row right next to the DU bench. So, I guess my point is that all is not just yet.
