Well thanks, Jay. I'm reporting live from the Southeastern sector of the Northwest corner of the arena. From my vantage point I can tell you the Denvers were fortunate to escape the last three and half minutes of the period with their 1-0 lead intact. Somebody better turn a hose on the King kid. Holy moley, shouldda scored about four times on that one shift.

I am so ashamed...the first game I haven't attended or watched this season and it is CC...though I am restarting my business in a new location and have been crazy, stoopid, busy so I have a decent-enough excuse...bring yer 'A' games as I am at a bar with no hope of getting the game and need solid reporting :)

I've spent a few minutes during the second period intermission speaking with a well-informed, long-time, CC season ticket holder. He told me that talks were held this past week among the Colorado Rockies and the Athletic Directors at CC and DU. The topic of discussion was the possibility of CC and DU playing a game in Coors Field next February [2016] the week before the Colorado Avalanche will play the Detroit Red Wings. Nothing is yet finalized, but talks were encouraging.

Just not finishing chances. How many times should Denver have scored? It should be 3-0 or 4-0
