If anything I'm thanking his supporters and obviously his campaign and him. He made the right call and we should welcome them to the Blue No Matter Who campaign with open arms eager to beat our common enemy.
Obviously his supporters are going to go through some period of grief and anger. Let them lash out and mentally work through it. Eventually, hopefully, they'll come around. When they do, be happy to have another friend, even if only temporarily.

I have no problem telling the ones proudly saying they'll campaign against Biden and/or vote for whichever turd the Greens nominate to get bent. Those people are as lost as the Trumpsters. Fortunately, their numbers are small.

Interesting. I've been in DSA meetings in 3 states and that was not a thing in any of them. I've seen it in the Socialist movement but never in the modern DSA community.

Whoever's running the Biden campaign has once again nailed it and its making me a lot more optimistic about him in the general election. His campaign handled the Sanders issue well. No pressure or whining about him remaining in the race. They gave him his space and he's quit far earlier than I think most people would have expected. He also smartly gave Sanders one 1 on 1 debate after Super Tuesday when Biden pretty much had the nomination wrapped up. Again, smart move giving Bernie one more chance to press his case directly. Sanders supporters will of course be disappointed but any talk of the party working against him or him not having a level playing field simply aren't true as perhaps even Sanders himself will acknowledge.
