It will probably only help his numbers...so from that stand point it was probably a smart move. I think he is an idiot but we all know people dont give a crap about the rules anymore and they will love he is saying "what is good for the goose is good for the gander".

edit: I think he is an idiot for saying it, I think he would be stupid not to answer the subpoena and this makes me hate him even more.

You tell them that you'll answer after the dozens of flunkies that ignored House subpoenas and refused to turn over documents go first. Why on earth should Biden agree to go up there to be asked for six hours how often he beats his wife, and how much money did he and his son steal from the poor Ukrainians? The rule of law has already been dragged into a dirty sewer alley and shot by the GOP. Maybe the old ****er finally can realize that "working with Republicans" doesn't actually work.

It surely doesn't make him look guilty and it surely doesn't make his defenders look like hypocrites. It absolutely doesn't play into the witchhunt meme...

I like his rhetoric but the details of the plans he’s proposing are actually pretty bad.

I've found out that being a policy wonk doesn't get you anything. As a voter or as a candidate. 40% of the country is out to ****ing lunch and that same 40% is more than 50% of the electoral college.

I do however like big ideas. And Andrew, Bernie, and Liz all have them.

No we would support Crystal Lady if weed was legal ;) (Scooby probably wants her to be Spiritual Advisor :p )

Andrew Yang is supported by people who either want to crash the system or people who think Tech Wizards are some sort of Liberal Donald Trumps who can lead us into a new era. Problem is Tech Wizards arent Liberal Donald Trumps...they are just Donald Trumps.

Christ if you want a one issue candidate with good ideas there were like 24 of them in the Dem debates all of whom were better than Yang and his plan for UBI. Scooby has to be in troll mode with this and his newfound love of Chuck Todd :eek:

UBI is inevitable. Yang's version is just a poor first draft. But coerced work will be regarded as slavery in 100 years.

Not sure if it's inevitable but it should be. And I agree Yang (like AOC is some ways) is proposing things that shock much of the electorate, but if people took the time to shut up for a minute and consider what they're trying to accomplish it makes a lot of sense. These proposals need tweaking but we could get there if everyone stopped shouting at each other long enough to have an extended and mature conversation.

I really hold out hope that if the Dems take the WH and don't lose the House we will be in a better place - at least for 4 years - to have those conversations.
