Dear Brett Favre Make Up Your Darn Mind Already

Re: Dear Brett Favre Make Up Your Darn Mind Already

Super Bowl or Bust.
The worst that can happen is that this team doesn't live up to the now nearly unattainable expectations, which IMO would mean goodbye to Chili.

You have your own team's circus to worry about...only your ringmaster plays wide receiver.;) :p

Considering the Vikings' "luck" Favre will probably tear both ACLs his first practice snap or he'll be arrested for running a cockfighting ring and brothel in Mississippi. ;)

And has a TV show...

And that's not nearly as distracting, pathetic, or hilarious as this crap. This right here is comedy gold.

Apparently NOW Minnesota is a complete team, and should win the Super Bowl. Hey, guess what? I have a fragrance called Humility by BrettFavre I could sell you guys, too. :D

A balding self-proclaimed rube who lives in a place where shopping carts are strewn about and has an elevator that smells of urine really shouldn't make fun of Brett Favre.

And a guy who only recently moved out of his mom's basement and lives in a place where an anthill is considered a change in terrain and plays pattycakes with an insane former college hockey player shouldn't make fun of me.

Could you narrow it down? That's about half the posters in the Cafe. ;) :D

Didn't I predict this back at the end of July, when he said he was staying retired? I can't really take credit, this scenario was put in my head by a couple of brewers (John and Jake Leinenkugel (or however you spell it)), which just proves - beer is the answer.

I also made a bet with a buddy (who is a big BrettFavre fan) that BrettFavre would return before the MN-GB game on MNF.

It really was obvious. He gets to miss training camp, a game or two of preseason football, and gets some big money.

And gets to make it look like he's coming back because the team/fans really want him to, not because he can't stand not being in the spotlight.

Exactly. The only way it would have been "better" is if MN started 0-2 or 0-3, THEN he signed.

Care to re-evaluate? :)

No, I still think Jay Glazer is full of crap and had no basis for his story which is why he backed off it right away. It isn't like a bunch of us didn't say exactly what he did..he just waited 2 weeks to put his name behind it and when it got to be a bigger story he buckled over and denied he said anything. That he was proven right means very little...it is easy to be right when you talk out of both sides of your mouth :D

I would consider that lucky :D

If I were a Vikings fan, I'd hope that Favre gets injured just enough to not have him be able to play against the Packers (both games) and have the Vikings still win those games.

It's an everyone wins scenario: beat the Packers, and Favre gets no satisfaction for beating them himself.

I guess I don't care that much...of course I don't care what you think either so go figure! I want the Vikes to win, beyond that who cares. Oh and I want Go4PuckFan to disappear, but that is a different story :D

Wait, TJ Oshie lives in Brent's building!!!!

Carl Gerbschmidt on Barreiro, this could be quite entertaining today...

If I were Brenthoven, I'd walk in front of a forklift at work.
