Pretty much how I feel too. It's especially bad with a privacy screen. That faint line between post and sig? Absolutely no way to see it unless I have my face a foot away from the laptop screen. Oh well...

I love the new quick reply feature though.

It does look like the new board will work better on iPods and smart phones.


Not totally sure if I totally like the new reply. I liked to use the multi-quote and just reply to everybody in one post. I would just like that reply to be the full reply, instead of the quick reply.

Multi-quote still works, you just need to select the "+ on the posts you want, then hit the +Reply to Thread button. It shows all your multi-quoted posts in the "quick reply" style window.

I don't like it one bit.

and what exactly is the purpose of adding "friends"? does it do something different to the board or those people? do fireworks shoot out of your monitor when they post? it is what used to be called the buddy list (which also had no purpose)?

p.s. GET OFF MY LAWN

I asked this question earlier, agreed it's vexing... the answer is to tab off the pw box (and onto the remember me box) and hit the space bar to check it.

I got it to work by just hitting reply while not signed in so it went to the separate sign in page.

It seems to be working for me now, in Firefox. The checkbox looks visibly different than it did earlier today and now I can actually click it.

I would like it better if the little green arrows on the Icons of the threads that I've posted in were bigger, just kinda hard to pick those threads out in all of the clutter.

It worked perfectly fine before on my smartphone! You just had to use a free internet browser from the app marketplace instead of the pre-loaded one!

Completely pointless to change it. This is like trading a good solid F-150 for a ****ing Pontiac Aztec.

I was finally able to get 'remember me' to work by tabbing through it, but that's a rather annoying glitch.

The whole board is slow, too.

I can't blame them for upgrading if the old software wasn't being supported anymore. It just happens that it feels like an upgrade from Windows XP to Vista right now.

The good news is that an upgrade to Windows 7 is just around the corner.
