Dead Thread - 2020

Jimmy Rodgers 87 - pop singer from the 1950's. Those of us old enough will remember many of his top hit songs like Honeycomb and Kisses Sweeter than Wine.

Fun fact: as an ingenue, she was a looker with a coupla major league yabahos.

She had a number of roles on TV in both the Alfred Hitchcock present 1/2 hour shows and the later Alfred Hitchcock Hour shows. In those roles she was a hottie who in no way resembled her later character in the MTM series.

These groups reintroduced Americans to black blues because we were too racist to promote our own.

Thanks Kep for the list. I would only perhaps move the Beatles down a slot and perhaps add Herman's Hermits in there somewhere and of course, The Who. Still listen to much of this on Sirius radio with the 60's on 6 channel.
