Wrong country

I'm on a roll today.

You can't fool me, though. All those 19th Century British navy coal stations are the same.

i know I am getting old when all my heroes from when I was a kid are gone. Hard to think of a more intimidating pitcher than Gibson. His statistics from 1968 were just crazy good. And, he was a pretty darn good hitter too!

Are you old when you (think you) remember his picture on the Topps card and the powdery feel of the pink bubble gum that came in the package of 5?

He was a handsome dude, but even in his publicity pics that glare made you feel like he's just as soon drill you as look at you.

Lou Johnson, former Dodger. He was the only player to reach base for either team in Sandy Koufax perfect game against the Cubs in 1965. A hit, a walk and a run.

Eff me. I still remember the day my brother brought me into his room (which almost never happened) to play Eruption on vinyl for me for the very first time and I was a fan ever since. This sucks.

Former NYS Senate majority leader Joe Bruno, 91

In prison or not? (You said NYS Senate.)

Edit: LOL, from Wikipedia:

On January 23, 2009, Bruno was indicted on eight federal corruption charges, including Mail and wire fraud.[SUP][53][/SUP] The indictment alleged that between 1993 and 2006, Bruno was paid $3.2 million in consulting fees to use his position to do favors for entities with business before the state.[SUP][54][/SUP]

On December 7, 2009, Bruno was convicted of two counts of mail and wire fraud. He was acquitted of five felony charges, and the jury hung on the eighth and final count of the indictment.[SUP][55][/SUP] On May 6, 2010, he was sentenced to two years in jail.[SUP][56][/SUP][SUP][57][/SUP]
