Dead Thread - 2020

Carl Reiner was 98, Hugh Downs was 99. Somebody better encase Betty White in bubble wrap.

EDIT: Downs retired from 20/20 in '99.
He died in 2020 at age 99.

burd, almost. Flatlined on the operating table for about 80 seconds Monday. Glorious experience, though. I passed through an opening into a brilliant white light, just like in the stories. There I stood before a huge archway of white marble, etched with the following words in gold enameling:

NO REPUBLICANS ALLOWED

The anesthesiologist later said I almost seemed to be their fighting cpr efforts. :D

So he has materially improved life on Earth.
