Ray Sawyer (Dr Hook). 81.
He's part to one of my fondest memories...

Well, were big rock singers, we got golden fingers
and were loved everywhere we go [ that sounds like us ]
We sing about beauty and we sing about truth
at ten thousand dollars a show [ right ]
We take all kind of pills, that give us all kind of thrills
but the thrill we've never known, is the thrill that'll getcha
when you get your picture on the cover of the Rollin' Stone
Rollin' Stone,
wanna see my picture on the cover
wanna buy five copies for my mother [ Yeah! ]
wanna see my smilin' face, on the cover the cover of the Rollin Stone

I grew up listening to that song during road trips from MN to PIT. One of my brothers gave my mom Dr. Hook's greatest hits tape, and she would play the tape, dance in her seat, and when we were stopped she'd swivel in the chair, and start singing or lip syncing with it. I've since bought a copy of that album on CD, ripped it to MP3, and still play it quite a bit.
