Passed away in Geneva from cancer. Mentors of chefs such as Gordon Ramset and Eric Ripert.

We were just talking about going to one of his restaurants in Vegas last week. Found out that it was a bit too expensive, and a bit too exclusive for our lowly asses. :p

I'll never forget what his famous potato puree was like. Oh, and the rest of my meal was pretty good too, I guess. ;)
 
Who woulda thunk that?!

Reminds me of a car review I recently watched. The car still had the salesman's business card in it. The companies emblazoned on the top of it were PONTIAC - SATURN - ISUZU - HYUNDAI.

The guy stated "If I was told that only one would still be in the American market in 25 years, I sure as **** wouldn't have guessed it would be Hyundai."
