Question on the Tournament.

21 week season, yet you have 22 weeks of games listed, counting the exhibition.

What happens if a player I select, or the whole team does not make the NCAA tournament? Am I SOL in the playoff round?

Correct. Thats why we have a tourny champion and overall....those who do not make the tourny will still accumulate points. Remember, your overall points is for ALL 9 players....while your weekly points are only the 5 you pick (3 forwards, 2 defensmen, 1 goalie)

Obviously if we do not use the $5 membership then we won't be giving out tickets for the NCAA's (unless someone wants to donate them). Thats why we stop the week before so we can determine the winner(s) and allow them to go to the games. If we do not use the membership then we will just move the playoffs up a week.

How are we going to do this draft?

I would like to do the draft on here or an online draft pool. Still trying to work on that. Normally we use to just do it on here, but it took a good month, and we don't have that much time. So everyone will need to be on their toes.

Basically once all the team slots are filled, we will have a random draw order.
Round 1: 1-24 (1 pick)
Round 2: 24-1 (2 picks)
Round 3: 1-24 (3 picks)
Round 4: 24-1 (3 picks)

4 Forwards, 3 defensemen, 2 goalies

2 players from 1 team

4 players from 1 conference

In the 2011-2012 season, you will be able to keep 3 players (max) from your 2010-2011 roster.

Well, if you do it on here, you'd probably have to cap it at 12 at this stage in the game.

Thats why its best to have many different players from A) Different teams, B) Different leagues and C) Different regions.....

I will try and sit down tonight and figure out some dates on when to finalize things. I would like to get to 16 teams. That is the goal. The real issue is people being committed to the draft. That's part of the reason I wanted to charge the $5 so people would be more committed. We've had to cancel the FHL before because people sign up, and then don't do a thing. That's what I am trying to avoid.

ICE HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIP to the Riddle Arena, hosts TBD

I'd like to be invisible for one day. What would I do for that day, you ask? Check out women's locker rooms? Sneak into a bank vault and score some greenbacks? Bust into Area 51 to see if there really are aliens there?

Oh, no no. I'd go to Indianapolis and wander the NCAA cube farm so as to finally figure out what it is they do there all day.
