D1 Scores and Highlights

Re: D1 Scores and Highlights

The goals keep coming for Minnesota... Emily West's second of the game makes it 5-0 and chases Stephanie Ney from the UND net.

Re: D1 Scores and Highlights

BU and Providence in OT, 1-1.

BU scored with 8 seconds to go on Extra Attacker goal to tie it!

One could see that coming. No penalties are called for a 12-minute stretch in the third, and then there is a checking call on BU with just over a minute and a half to go. Anybody who has watched any hockey in the last 10 years knows what is coming next -- the even up call! This one took all of 15 seconds. In the officials zeal to "not decide the game", they sometimes do just that. It's a lot easier to score 5-on-4 than 6-on-5.

Having gotten through the first OT, PC should have survived any momentum swing from that late goal, so the teams should be back on more equal footing.

Keep us posted can't get the feed. It would be nice to see PC make the mix espeacially for Lacasse sake, she has really carried that program since arriving there.

Re: D1 Scores and Highlights

BC takes a 1-0 lead on St. Lawrence... Alex Carpenter put the Eagles ahead on a scramble in front of the Saint net.

"Nothin' doin'" in the remainder of the first period (if you're watching the webcast, you'll know what I'm taking about). 1-0 Eagles after one.

Karell Emard scores for St. Lawrence just 20 seconds into period 2. BC 1, SLU 1.

EDIT: And Michelle Ng scores 20 seconds after that on a rebound. SLU 2, BC 1.

Re: D1 Scores and Highlights

Another rebound goal for St. Lawrence, this one coming from Bailey Habscheid on the power play. Three goals in 3:33 of the second period. SLU 3, BC 1.

Edit: Correction... give the third SLU goal to Ellie Williams.

Re: D1 Scores and Highlights

BC power play goal scored by Emily Field to cut the lead to 3-2 St. Lawrence. Under nine minutes left in the second period.

Re: D1 Scores and Highlights

Less than two minutes into the game between Cornell and BU and they're already making ice repairs... :( .

Edit: BU takes the lead 1-0. Poulin with the goal.

Edit #2: And make it 2-0 as Kayla Tutino scores 5:09 into the game.

BC ties up SLU with 10.7 seconds to go in the second period, 3-3. Blake Bolden gets a beautiful pass from Mary Restuccia to score.

BU has 2 goals on four shots. Ugh.

What is with the online posted short dressed line-ups all off a sudden ? Is that accurate.?
