In Canada that would the Aeros hands down, in the US probably NAHA.

Here is the Ontario Data from a six year time span involving 241 recruits (05-06 to 10-11 recruits years inclusive).

Highest one year number was 13 players from the Aeros in the 07-08 recruit year. This list included Deluce, van der Bliek, Irwin, Miller, Hughes, Small, Gray, Bichard, Moniz, McMeekin, Lacroix, Manusco and Conway. Players like Irwin and Deluce played for the NWHL Aeros as opposed to the PWHL Aeros.

Kitchener Rangers???

You might want to note that London and Bluewater are so close players move regularly between the 2 associations

Those are great numbers for NAHA as well. Well done!!

As I indicated earlier, without doing all the math, pretty sure NAHA and Aeros top the list in terms of recruit numbers over the last 8 years.

You might want to note that London and Bluewater are so close players move regularly between the 2 associations

You can say the same about movement in other orgs. For example, Deluce played in Bluewater, but played for the NWHL Aeros in her last year, so that is the club listed in the recruit listings. Jenner would be listed as coming from Missy rather than Stoney for similar reasons. Many players move from other orgs to either the Aeros or Missy for their last year or two.

If you add the NCCP and Ottawa numbers together, they are clearly number two in the list after the Aeros (19+15=34). Their at advantage is they have been the only team in town in a large metro area for years, while Bluewater and London divided the spoils in a smaller metro area.

The numbers are based on the club team listed in the recruit listings, which is typically the last club the players plays for prior to heading for college. In the larger scheme of things, last year moves add a bit of noise to the numbers, but the overall big picture view would not change a whole lot as a result.

As far as players not playing more than a season once they get to college, there is many examples of those, no need to single out one player. Lots of things change between the ages of 18 and 22.

Have to agree there is no need of pointing out a single player as I am sure she is not the only one who ever went away to school and then decided maybe she wanted to be somewhere else.

Aero's have averaged 9 players per year for the last 6 years and will be at about that number again this year. Organization is truly focoused on getting their players to the next level.

2nd year in a row McGill lands the top Quebec Recruit. They took the top '92 D'Aoust last year, this year they take the top '93. Both of them are from the Montreal Region.

Add Darby Kern (F) Peters Township, PA and Stephanie Walkom (D) Moon Township, PA both play for Pittsburgh Penguins Elite to Penn State. Darby was previously listed and Stephanie is a recent commit.
