D-III All-Americans Watch

Re: D-III All-Americans Watch

but we already all know that its based on the all-conference teams. the all conference teams were announced before two minutes left in the quarterfinals saturday...

Regardless.....I have seen a lot of hockey both men's and women's and Leclerc is just unbelievable......watch her this weekend if you get the chance, and do not just go off of the score sheet actually go out and watch her if you get the chance and if you can come back from the game and say that she was not one of the top 2 or 3 players on the ice....then the omission was correct, but my guess is if you actually watch the game you will see what everyone who has seen her (and not all are "Norwich Homers") is talking about.

Re: D-III All-Americans Watch

Leclerc is an outstanding player. One of the best I have seen this year (Moberg from Platty was great too). Her game isn't measured with goals and assist. She is the most noticeable player on the ice at all times. What a shame that she isn't an all-american. Best of luck to the Cadets this weekend.

No doubt. Not taking anything away from her as a player. She and fortier were pretty phenomenal Saturday. they had to have been on the ice for 40 minutes in that game. The cadets were rolling two lines the whole game. she is a great player, even just based on those two goals. she wasn't about to let her senior season end. if only the conferences and ncaa looked at heart and determination over points scored, maybe she would have gotten AA. good luck this weekend all.

NCAA had nothing to do with the All-American picks.

The coaches make all the selections for all-conference and the all-americans.

You can only pick players that make their respective conference's all-league teams for the all-american teams however.

Coaches pick and in my experience you can have a coach not vote for an obvious choice because then you are splitting the vote and you have a player sneak in up the middle . Don't know if this happens in hockey but I see it in other sports .
