Re: Cronin Must Go
What are these God Awful years you speak of? When his team improved from a 3 win team to a 13 win team? Or when they improved from a 13 win team to a 16 win team? Maybe it was when they improved from a 16 win team to a 25 win team?
Am I the only one who WILDLY disagrees with seeing a difference in talent at NU since Cronin took over?
Yes, if only Greg had been in the net to stop those 6 goals himself. BC certainly doesn't have the most dynamic and tournament seasoned players in college hockey or anything.
You'll probably be a lonely man in that argument!
And OK, I know it's tradition and it's bragging rights, but the beanpot is a 4 team 'tournament' with the same designated 4 teams every year. If Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and UMass played a 'New England States Cup' or something like that every year, and Maine won 1 year, I'd probably be as jazzed up about it as them winning a "Holiday Classic 'tournament'". Does the beanpot really eat you that badly?
Cronin had 1 good year. He made the NCAA tourney. Every coach before him had one good year. He has had some god awful years.

.He has been the coach for 5 years. THIS IS HIS TEAM. THIS IS HIS RECRUITING. IT IS NOT BETTER

He took NU to the beanpot finals and had his STAR goalie give up 6 goals in the finals. THAT IS NOT GOOD. NOR DOES IT WIN BEANPOTS!

Tell me something this ****ing savoir has done. I'll argue he's done nothing.
