assuming of course that masses don’t become more and more irresponsible as the vaccines begin to get distributed

Dude, we’re partying like we just won The War and the pandemic is just hitting its stride.

It’s going a disaster. Thank god it’s more effective than the idiots are stupid.

And given the reaction within the state, it's just going to get worse.

In the same CBS report I saw, they interviewed two people who were just about to go into a bar w/o masks. One of them was an RN who worked with COVID patients. Seriously, she was just about to go into a bar w/o a mask, with a bunch of other non mask wearing patrons. After the interview, they didn't though.

Must've been one of those MAGA nurses I've been seeing on the Tweeter Machine for 4+ years. ;-)

I love this letter. It is everything the conspiracy theory losers have built themselves to believe. all he was missing was the Lizard People. Fake Moon Landing, microchips in vaccines, Jewish Mafia, globalist cabals and of course...using the "N" word to help Black People because he loves them so much!

These people used to be fringe...then the GOP spread their legs and said "Climb Aboard Sailor!" and now half this country talks like this...

I love this letter.

Also, the man understands a lede. "This controversy started after I made a few statements in a College of Arts and Sciences meeting of faculty and staff."

This is the only faculty meeting I have ever wished I was at.

If he really wants to invade the Dakotas in late February he should bring that hockey team of his with him. See if they can improve upon last year’s sweep and 9-3 azzwhuppin.

Mass testing in Liverpool leads to large decline in cases

https://trib.al/M61PM4G?fbclid=IwAR2...lB-VLVzGhUzt3s

Except this:

testing is only effective in controlling the virus if it leads to people changing their behaviour as a result of a positive test.

Americans are far too selfish and stupid. Those of us here know that asymptomatic spread is certainly a factor in how out-of-control the pandemic has gotten in the United States. We even had a weeks long internet battle with a former poster who did not ever seem to grasp the problem with spending time in bars and gatherings with people outside your household as long as you felt fine and did not have a fever. You could test ten million MAGAts tomorrow and I guarantee 90% of the ones who come back positive and are asymptomatic will NOT isolate. They won't wear a mask unless it is enforced upon them. They are either too stupid or too selfish to get it.

This virus is going to die down only when it has completely run its course through our population. My biggest hope is that at least a vaccine may keep health care workers safer and on the job. Other than that, what we see today is what we're going to see for another 6 months at least, and probably what we are going to see until early 2022.

Well yes and another Duh. After living in the UK I think they’re pretty selfish too but their love of their NHS makes them a bit less selfish when it comes to pandemic I think

I was just making a point. Sort of like pointing out how stupid the Tea Party people were when they screamed that they wanted the government to keep their hands of their Medicare.

Yeah. I get it. I just find it very frustrating that not only do they get to redefine the word, but they also get to mislabel Democrats with it and have it work. Drives me insane.

Yep. In a perfect world, we'd test like crazy, and enforce quarantine on positives with threat of civil infractions, but that would be too Gestapo for our right-wingers. You know, the same pro-birth righties who want to execute abortion providers. /snort
