Really Jeb?...That's funny because literally E.V.E.R.Y. infectious disease expert or group of experts says I'm right and you're wrong. How do you account for that? Do you really think they're all Democrats? Seriously Jeb, your level of cognitive dissonance is astounding. In fact, I recommend a psychiatric and/or psychological examination. :)

Block the troll and the board is much better reading.

The bot which controls Jeb is programmed to be this obtuse and stupid. Arguing with it is like arguing with a chair. It isn't interested in that which it isn't programmed to do.

Account for what? You being a complete idiot? You say that "experts" back you in every post. Any imbecile can talk like that.

Cognitive Dissonance? You trying some new big words today? The guy who is clamoring that Masks and Lockdowns are like a life jacket against a virus, moron.

Good post. You clearly don't have any answers or the capacity to acknowledge or discuss the inconsistencies in your dogma.

Sweden doesn’t use masks and is ~10x more dense than Montana, 64 people per square mile in Sweden vs 6.8 people per square mile in Montana So the lack of masks and comparatively high density explains why Sweden is doing so much worse than Montan…oh wait…hmm…that’s weird

Montana’s Governor mandated masks in indoor spaces and at outdoor gatherings statewide on July 15th while cases were fairly low Cases have gone up ~600% since the mandate, another incredible mask vaccine success story for the CDC to do a report on

Hovey...most experts state we need 85-90% mask wearing compliance, along with legitimate buy in to social distancing to really get control of the virus. As a nation, I believe we are at less than 60% mask wearing. And, we certainly aren't social distancing as well as we need to. I'll also second Stauber's comment regarding our neighbors, along with stating that the only reason we aren't as bad as they are at the moment, is due to the fact that Walz put our masking mandate in as early as he did. Unfortunately, I suspect we will be in a more restrictive gathering scenario -- no bars or gyms or theatres and restaurants at 25% capacity or take out only -- by Thanksgiving or even earlier. Possibly no indoor sports either. Especially considering the fact that both Massachusetts and New Hampshire stopped all youth and high school hockey for at least two weeks.

I gotta agree. In my area of the burbs things are pretty good (I would say 80-90% wearing masks even when they might not need to) but there is always a few that dont, and in reality all it takes is just one.

My only worry is Walz wont close back up because of the backlash. The MNGOP in the Leg will throw a fit and probably want him recalled. (and then not confirm someone for a job to prove a point)

Having your first surge now, instead of early, is inexcusable to me. We don't know a lot about this virus, but we know a good deal about how it spreads and how to reduce that spread. There's no excuse for letting it go unchecked. None, whatsoever.

Also, death rate being lower now is wonderful news, and the places currently having issues can thank the earliest hit locations for learning how to treat COVID and passing along that information. We, as a country, are much better at preventing COVID deaths now than we were in March.

As Donnie himself will brag to you, fewer people are dying now becuase we better understand the virus, and have better therapeutic options when treating it.

Things that the Pacific Northwest states, and NY and NJ didn't have when this first hit.

But Hovey knows this too, and just wants to be a dick.

Another guy on the morning show I listened to got it. His whole family has it. (he actually lost a family member to it earlier in the Pandemic) He has no idea how they got it but for a day or so it seemed like a normal change of weather cold. They went and got tested anyways to make sure and found out. Said it still is mostly like a cold (though he is only a few days in) but it hits him in waves. One minute he feels like it is over (like a cold) and then 2 minutes later he wants to lay down in bed for the day and sleep it off. Alternating hot and cold flashes. Says it is mild but definitely scary.

Of course he isnt dead...so he doesnt count.

Mild, but still scary? Cold symptoms are scary?

Imagine how it feels for those where it isn't mild?

Another problem with "mask compliance" is that sure, people wear them when they go to the store as mandated, but they turn around and have 10 people in their house for a party with no masks or distancing. By most all accounts this latest round is fueled by small gatherings, not people at the grocery store. So people are complaint when doing relatively lower risk activities and non-compliant for higher risk activities. See the problem Hovey?

And some people are taken down by weird stuff. I was in the ER multiple times to verify I didn’t have guillan barre, as that can kill you quickly. I never had a breathing issue but the sharp daggering pains to my kidneys and bladder every day wasn’t fun either.
never really had a single cold syntom other than the tiniest throat tickle

This sounds a lot like my symptoms, never really had the cough, sore throat, fever but may the gastrointestinal issues and numbness in my feet, legs both times I tested positive for it...And I live in a state that was doing well until a week or so ago (Maine)

This is pretty much what I have had since late March: doesn't matter what shape you are in, the unknow symptoms are the scariest: at least for me

Cardinals president of baseball operations John Mozeliak revealed Thursday that Lane Thomas had difficulty breathing and had times he felt dizzy on the field following a bout with COVID-19.

It offers, at least in part, an explanation as to why Thomas struggled so mightily at the plate and in the field. As such, the Cards might wipe the slate clean with the 25-year-old. It's looking like St. Louis might not be spending much on upgrades this offseason, so Thomas could get another shot at playing time in 2021.

Well then.

“North Dakota has the highest covid death rate per capita in the world right now,” the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington’s Christopher Murray told The Washington Post, yet data suggests that less than 50% of people there wear masks. When Dr. Deborah Birx was in the state on Monday, she told reporters, “Over the last 24 hours, as we were here and we were in your grocery stores and in your restaurants and frankly, even in your hotels, this is the least use of masks that we have seen in retail establishments of any place we have been.”

Has to just be a coincidence right? Sparsely populated state that even birx says are terrible at mask compliance?
