Well Flo(R)ida and Georgia tried and failed in epic fashion. They looked worse. Better to just ignore it since the rubes believe it is a hoax anyways.

Just heard on the radio, interviewing people there. Imagine Lyndsey Graham's drawl: "Ah think it's all a hoax!!"

After 120,000 dead in 3 1/2 months.
 
This is just awesome.

Had a conversation with one of my baseball assignors asking if I wanted to return to the field (kids tournaments are WAY up in # of teams compared to normal because they lost the first 2.5 months of their season). Apparently I am in a small minority that is choosing to continue self-lockdown because of the numbers posted above.

Basically I'm just gonna keep the same routine going throughout the Summer that I've been on since March... It's starting to set in that this might become "normal" for a year or more =(
 
About Florida- looking at their official site for Covid, all of a sudden, the 1-2 deaths per day has magically gone up. Not that the rate has changed, but they went back and revised the death numbers. Not many, yet, but not 1-2 either. Funny about that.
 
I keep hearing we're still in the first wave and the numbers are going up. But, we're just reopening anyway. I think the country has decided, "if you die, you die." and is moving on.

Not "the country." Wall Street ran the numbers and calculated they can squeeze more out of us by killing us as consumers now, and Main Street can always restaff with new fodder.

And the government is run by Nazis who don't care either way as long as they can continue to steal everything not nailed down.

It's not We, it's Them. This will not end until We end Them.

This is one way for them to appease Dump, get the people to keep shopping, and still wind up with accurate-ish numbers. They report 2 deaths for June 19 on June 20, retroactively bump that to 20 in September, and then finalize it as 200 next year.

No it is we. There are people all over the place who quit on all of this and it isnt because they are drooling Trumpers or Capitalists. They just dont want to be inconvenienced.
 
I look forward to Cletus and his daughter wives asking us to pray for them when they need medical attention cause they got the COVID.

Nah. He chose OK for a reason. The state is a lock and even if his people get sick the damage to his numbers will be minimal. The rest of the people will still think it is a hoax.

It is like the doctor said in Montgomery, AL. His hospital is almost at capacity with COVID patients, they cant keep up yet people outside the hospital ask him all the time whether this is all a political ploy. These people cant see beyond their own stupidity. (and the City Council there still wouldnt mandate masks cause FREEDUM!!1!!)
