I’m more concerned on sconnie reopening like a bunch of animals and coming here

Thankfully most of them live closer to Michigan and Illinois

Well, most of IL's people that feel their rights have been infringed will be taking their usual WI vacations starting in 3 weeks, so have fun with that :(

Yeah, but what's the intelligence difference of western Sconnies vs. southern and northern Sconnies...

I do realize that realistically the bar is only so high to begin with.

My city has a few new tag lines they’re spouting on next door :

Tim walz is waging a war on young families with kids who can’t do anything

People are so worried about dying, they’ve forgotten how to LiVE

Re: Covfefe-19 Part 9: Shelter In Place is Temporary, but Wu-Tang is Forever

Americans have zero resolve.

Sports coming back my ***.

Not Americans. Dumpies. And after Putin, Dumpies are not Americans anymore. They're part of the international brotherhood of fascist fc-cktards.

Re: Walz:

So 10 or less are ok, but we can't let the bars/restaurants that can have social distancing have the option of opening under those same conditions (or maybe add a few extra requirements)? I'm thinking outdoor patios only, 6 feet separation, disposable menus/cups/dinnerware/etc. They don't HAVE to open, but they can if they can meet the requirements...AND people don't HAVE to go there. But they have the option. No different than a small retail store with 50% capacity (I'd prob say 25% for restaurants).

Overall, I like what he's doing, but now it's even more of a mish-mash than before....

Nah. I’ve come to see it’s more than just dumpies that are pushing for reopening. It’s a lot more. If it were just dumpies, Minnesota wouldn’t be reopening.

Americans don’t understand math. They certainly don’t understand biology. Hong Kong had four deaths (or something like that) in a city of 7 million. With almost zero warning compared to our months of warning.

My buddy in HK called me this weekend after being out in bars. We had an interesting chat

But the workers HAVE to go there because this negates any eligibility for unemployment. And most likely they have no insurance, no savings and have to figure out what to do with their families. I get that people think all these workers are expendable but to not consider the impact on what happens when they get sick and forget they don't have the choice is wrong of us.

Re: Covfefe-19 Part 9: Shelter In Place is Temporary, but Wu-Tang is Forever

I live in blue State but in the epicenter of dumb dumpies. We have 2 people running for Selectman who are very vocal- this is all a hoax. And even tho we have a bad number for a small town and people have died it is all made up. I reallllllllllly need to move. I had nothing but derision for this town before this. One more nail in the coffin. (and if they keep it up I might need a bunch more nails)

So that's different how than the essential workers? If a business chooses to stay open (essential workers are not necessarily REQUIRED to stay open), unemployment is still on the table.

If you think it is only Dumpies I got a bridge to sell you...

I understand that there are plenty of non-Dumpies who are idiots. But to be an idiot and to be doing special forces cosplay with your pen-s substitute at the local city hall... that particular combination of stupidity and pathetic loserdom is a job for a Republican. Likely the only job most Republicans will ever hold.

They won't hesitate to put the blame for that difference squarely on the governors...

Re: Covfefe-19 Part 9: Shelter In Place is Temporary, but Wu-Tang is Forever

Wisconsin is a fvcking joke of a state in a fvcking joke of a country. We need to find a way to sterilize at least a third of this country.

Like Michigan, that is the result of a huge effort to take over state government by R's in 2010, and it's working. They won that election, and then drew the lines so that they would have control even if they don't have a plurality of the votes. Hopefully, this will here in MI after the neutral re-draw in 2020.

There's a depressing moving about it, and Wisconsin is front and center in the discussion- especially how a very secret group did the re-drawing of the districts is strict silence and secrecy. It's stunning that they have gotten away with that, but the SCOTUS isn't willing to step in even when public decisions were made clearly in the interests of the very few.

Sorry about the side note- but where we are now is very much influenced by the 2010 election.

If you haven’t read it already, the book Ratf**cked by David Daley does a solid job laying out the REDMAP plan that Republican operatives put into place before/after 2010. We lost at least a decade over that disaster.
