Re: Covfefe-19 part 6: Waiting For Advice from Kid Rock and Tiger Woods now.

Posted a bit ago but didn't see a response- is there any site that is keeping track of various protocols in place for testing, treatment?

And in people are stupid- someone on my FB feed posted that Gov Baker (Mass) had to go and someone else posted Cuomo too. Maybe I missed something but from where I sit they seem to be 2 of the most together Govs. I commented from a public health standpoint they were gamechangers. Was told they didn't care about public health- it didn't matter. Oh, good Lord.

Ready for this to be over- not because I can't stand being insidee but because the constant reminder of the number of stupid, stupid people there are in the world.

Re: Covfefe-19 part 6: Waiting For Advice from Kid Rock and Tiger Woods now.

There was an article I read where people in Brooklyn wish they could go back to hating Cuomo. He is doing too good a job :D

BTW almost 1400 deaths today :(

4.6 earthquake hits San Diego.

I see people complaining on Twitter that the media doesn't report the number of people who've recovered.

No matter how you slice it, 7,392 deaths to 12,283 recoveries with 277,000+ remaining active cases out there is not a good ratio.

They’re just mad more didn’t die of h1n1 under Obama

Most of the major attractions are closed, and the festival events/activities were already cancelled. However, that doesn't stop people from going out and about like normal. All of their restaurants and bars are still open.

Thank you for clarifying. I forgot your parents had just traveled there.

They are just mad that at this rate this disease will kill more people than Obama did in the H1N1 outbreak in a few days. And we still havent hit any peaks yet...

We had a 6.5 in Idaho the other day (someone may have mentioned it here cant recall). It was felt through most of Idaho as well as parts of Montana, Oregon, Washington, Utah, and Alberta. I was sitting in my chair and it almost felt like I was bobbing in ocean waves for 10-15 seconds. Thankfully it was in a remote area and didn't cause any damage. Has been something like 100+ aftershocks since.

Of course they couldn't make the connection between the company being sociopaths and what corporations have to do under capitalism, but it's a start.

Corporations have been around for centuries. American-style shareholder-focused corporations have been around for 35.

It wasn't until the 80s that corporations made shareholder value their sole performance metric. Prior to that, they acknowledged their duties to employees, customers, and society at large. Given that corporations are legal creatures of the state, they could be forced to do so again if we had the political will to do so.

Yeah, the botskis were hard at work on Twitter this past week about HCQ. Whitmer was hammered by them after she had the state Board of Licensing send a letter to physicians that they would be investigating any suspicious over-prescriptions, which she did after the Republican Senate Majority Leader asked her to do it.

I quite agree. I meant under the current insane philosophy of what a corporation is (a god) and what it owes its society (absolutely nothing).
