Covfefe-19 - Part 4- Stay the **** Home

Re: Covfefe-19 - Part 4- Stay the **** Home

Remember when it was New York dominating all the new cases? Lots of other states are starting to report big rises. Louisiana's numbers seem to be rising particularly fast; also Georgia and New Jersey. Cali is still relatively very low but one would assume they (and Texas) will eventually blow every other state out of the water.

It will be interesting when the blue states who took it seriously have burned through all the supplies and the red states, finally buying a vowel, find it's too late.

There's always prayer.

The coming hot weather will save us all!!

My co-worker that got it? Hearing he is on a ventilator. He was last in the office while I was away at DX's wedding. They suspended training for the next 2.5 days to work out a plan for social distancing. Still getting paid, at least. Still committed to no involuntary furloughs...

Re: Covfefe-19 - Part 4- Stay the **** Home

This mother effer just said Easter church is special to him and he wants packed churches on Easter because virtual isn’t the same.

A pox on every person who voted for this.

Well, I think the DOW was helped by the fact that, they'uh ya know, there were theories that we were gonna stay out for four or five months and ya can't do that, as a count-, you'd destroy our country if you did a thing like that. And, uh, we're gonna be opening, uh, relatively soon and we are, our time comes up, uhr, Monday or Tuesday, our, ya know the allotted two weeks, but we'll stay a little bit longer than that, but we wanna get opened very soon, I think that's a big reason it's gone up. I also think that fact that The Senate and The House, I, uh-wur, we seem to be getting along as much as you can get along, we seem to be getting along now on a, on a bill. I think that maybe had even less of an impact than the fact that we're opening up this incredible country, because we have to do that. I'd love to have it open by Easter, okay, I'd love to have it open by Easter, I will, I will tell you that right now. I would love that have that, it's such an important day for other reasons, but I'll make an important day for this too. I'd love to have the country opening up, just raring to go, by Easter.

What a statesman

He's trying to take a page from Christie hugging Obama after Sandy here. Thinks he's owed the same courtesy, even though he sat on his arse and did almost nothing for two months despite warnings to prepare.

Remember what I said about the blue states telling the Feds to **** themselves? We get closer every day.

In a way we're doing it already. We're going ahead trying to solve our own problems and ignoring the sh-tgibbons in the GOP. And, eventually, we will tire of paying treasure out to a bunch of freeloader red states and maybe we'll leave this time.

We'll take 98% of the best universities in the country (sorry, UT-Austin), 98% of the best companies (sorry... actually, I can't think of any), and 98% of the best people. They can keep their tenant farmers, meth addicts, and prisons.

Listen, ask any old person if they're willing to be ground into an edible paste to save their grandkids, and they'll do it at a heartbeat.

So we're doing The Trolley Problem but the most important thing is to save the trolley

The finest tweet that will be made on Dump and the GOP.

Depends if we've just done an 8hr shift watching the little monsters.

But yea -- you're right. Ditto for my kids.

So, what's the new Democratic Party going to look like?

Wait, the country's closed?

Did someone lock the doors and turn off the lights?
