I still can’t believe they are letting trump around other people. A president should be taking extreme precautions. They should be giving these pressers from a room that allowed for more personal space.

“The states simply cannot manage it,” Cuomo said at a daily briefing. “In some ways we are savaging other states. I’m trying to buy masks. I'm competing with California and Illinois and Florida. And that’s not the way it should be.

“Price gouging is a tremendous problem and it’s only getting worse. There are masks that we were paying 85 cents for. We’re now paying $7. Why? Because I’m competing against every other state and in some cases against other countries around the world," he said, without naming the mask suppliers.

“I will contract with a company for 1,000 masks. They’ll call back 20 minutes later and say the price just went up because they had a better offer,” Cuomo said.

IIRC, even the N95 masks are only good for a couple hours? And that still may be an optimistic view?

We could be looking at millions dead with leadership like this. We would literally be better off if the president died from Covid-19 if these are the decisions his federal government is making. Or died from too many Big Macs. Or from literally anything fat old men can die from.

I'm guilty as hell for posting hyperbole, but really people, this president might be responsible for untold numbers of people dying. Something needs to be done.

I can't believe there isn't one motherfvkcer who is standing next to him with the balls to go right to the microphone and just say we need to 25th Amendment his as s right then and there. Somebody in a position of authority needs to step up. Do they ALL hate America that much?

I'd probably go further than that. The yes-men/women surrounding him, supporting his decisions and/or suggesting these decisions.
