Why hasn’t anyone had the balls to remove him yet? My god. This is a disaster

Re: Covfefe 19: now in 3D

We just split the workforce into 2 teams working alternate weeks. My company will not pick up any hours for exempts and only allow 60-hour on weeks, so for the duration we'll be burning 40 hours of PTO per month and, when that (quickly) exhausts, LWOP.
Really glad my company accountants screwed up and somehow have claimed I have only taken two PTO days since January 1st when I actually took four. That's sixteen extra hours of PTO in the bank for me. As of today, with the accounting error, I have 16 days of PTO I can take.

Really glad our construction project is social distancing by nature and we're still working through this (no reason to shut down anyway).

So I’m out of a job, that I just got a week ago, after not working for 5 months. This is ridiculous. Let’s have a payroll tax cut when no one has a paycheck  good news sorta iid that when this whole thing blows over, I’ll be welcomed back
I am so, so, so sorry. :(:(

Re: Covfefe 19: now in 3D

LL Bean flagship in Freeport, ME installing door locks today. It's an end of an era. As Ticap mentioned, they've only closed 5 times: JFK's death, LL's death, Leon Gorman's death (LL's grandson and former CEO), and two Sundays in 1962 when a change in Maine's Blue Laws required a town vote to allow them to stay open on Sundays -- but they've always been less than 24 hours. Since the doors didn't have locks they had security guards stationed at the doors during those closures.

I missed this earlier.

Sorry man. This sucks. I really hope you can recover quickly. I know this is just words, but hopefully we can get some real relief passed through the House and Senate to help you out.

That’s three or four Cafe members now directly impacted. :(

Really good vid from national treasure Dr Fauci explaining everything.

Got a message from a relative this AM. Someone in their family is being required to travel to NY to measure a business for something next week. Not an emergency. Company already has 2 people who are in quarantine who've been tested. Told her they should ask for a legal waiver stating the company will bear the cost if they need to go into quarantine, get tested. They have someone in house who is at extremely high risk.

I'm sorry, Jericho. Somehow, some way, we will survive this.

For the rest of the week, I'm going to try and make money with Door Dash. But my only hope is people won't be stingy jerks.

That is yet to be determined. If they do $1000 per American per month and start in April they can do payments through October and it will still be less than the fed wasted on Wall Street last week. Let's hope they stay away from Romney's plan of a one-time $1000 check for every adult.

Re: Covfefe 19: now in 3D

So Shared Health of Manitoba has posted an online "guide" to determine if you need to be tested. For those who may be interested in the levels of concern (or haven't seen a clear step by step walk-through). https://sharedhealthmb.ca/covid19/screening-tool/

Obvious answers are obvious. But, beyond the critical first two steps (1. Do you or the person you are inquiring about have any of the following symptoms: severe difficulty breathing (e.g., struggling for each breath, speaking in single words), chest pain, confusion, extreme drowsiness or loss of consciousness? 2. Do you or the person you are inquiring about have shortness of breath at rest or difficulty breathing when lying down?) , all the rest are pretty much "Self isolate and call a nurse to discuss, but be aware our phone lines are overwhelmed."
