Chatted with a friend from Rome today. She isn't that concerned about herself (she's young and an athlete) but her older relatives. It has moved through the country so quickly. But at least the leaders in her country seem to know what they're doing, or at least are willing to listen to the medical experts. Ours? "Yeah, good luck with that," were her words. :(

My dad is 72 and is flying in a couple weeks. Can’t say I think that this is a great time for him to travel...

Gutted, but totally understand this. Cancelling our plans (we have tix to 4 shows - Toronto, Baltimore, Nashville, and St. Louis). We'll just see them when they reschedule. May have to eat the cost of Leaf tix and Pred tix though. :(

Work also is limiting travel for anyone with direct patient contact, so it would have been a headache (and likely requiring self-quarentine) when I got back. So, I guess it's good that I don't have to deal with that.

Epi’s need good data to run to figure this out . Hopefully we can get some from other nations since trump- and yes, he and his fed gov- have put us so far behind

Even if my symptoms subside I am to avoid him for X amount of time?

I work 2 days a week at home. You'd think my company would just go to full time telecommuting at least temporarily. Nope. And if my symptoms don't get worse it's not like I can call out sick with the virus because I won't be seen/tested. How would anyone then be able to conclude a particular timeframe of when people shouldn't be afraid to be in large crowds? With no vaccine, how do you get to that point?
