The only question to ask about Republicans in general and Dump in particular is: malice or ineptitude? In this case I think it's pure ineptitude. This dunce and his cronies are so incompetent they can't handle basic logic, and so concerned with shunting blame and hiding their incapacity that all their efforts go into CYA, not practical policy.

If only GOP voters died from this it would be the greatest case of hoist by your own petard in history. Unfortunately, some worthwhile people will also be harmed.

This seems ominous.
Stephen King ought to sue. He thought of it first.

No, it's malice. The entire purpose of the government is for this very thing. Their willingness to destroy the government knowing something like this could occur is pure malice.

Have we gotten President Pelosi into isolation yet? If not, why not?

The long term thought processes of the Republicans are malicious, yes. Destroy government so the people have no protection against the sociopaths. They are the robbers abolishing the police.

But in the short term the numb skulls in this incarnation of conservatism are simply mentally incapable.

It's still malice. Even in the short term. All he ****ing cares about is the stock market.

Re: Covfefe-19 2020 part the second: Wash Your Hands

Down 8000 since Feb 14 -- one month, 27%.

The wages of Dump is death.

The crash in 1987 was less than that...though that was in one day ;)

If another sport suspends their season there might not be a floor for how bad this goes.

The question is how bad of a recession will hit. Remember the correction was gonna hit anyways every economist warned it...and now you add in the Saudi/Russia oil spat and a Pandemic

edit: MLS cancelled...not surprising since Seattle is so hard hit by the virus but...yikes. 60/40 the NCAAs cancels at this point.

100% the NCAA cancels. There isn't a sport out there that can afford this. If I'm an owner, I don't want my prized all star contracting this and being out for months.

Oh, and I guess the other people too.

Re: Covfefe-19 2020 part the second: Wash Your Hands

Cant say 100% until a player or coach is confirmed. (may have happened I was on the phone with TDameritrade cause someone tried to hack my account...dont know why it is worthless now) If a player or coach comes down with it the NCAA will wipe the board clean and just have no winter titles.

Mitch doesn't have time for your stupid virus bill. There's a virus going around!

As someone else said on Twitter, the shade wars have begun.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">I know this is all hard for you, <a href="https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@realdonaldtrump</a>, so let me spell it out: <br><br>- Free testing<br>- Fee waivers<br>- Emergency sick leave<br>- Quarantines<br>- Cancellations<br>- Giving a ****</p>— Hillary Clinton (@HillaryClinton) <a href="https://twitter.com/HillaryClinton/status/1238127166514180096?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 12, 2020</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Re: Covfefe-19 2020 part the second: Wash Your Hands

“ BREAKING: Just before the chamber was scheduled to vote, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy said he would not support a Democrat-led coronavirus bill that would require employers to grant paid sick leave and bolster unemployment benefits, in addition to ensuring free diagnostic testing.”

Is the hold up who pays?
