Countdown to the End

Re: Countdown to the End

I was kinda hoping the second husband/plastic surgeon would wind up with the Russian mistress.

he had to die.. would have been awkward then for lloyd dobler to get back with the evil girlfriend from saving silverman if he lived.

When Clarkson wins an NCAA Championship. I think it's close to lim x->0 1/x.

One of my accounting professors at MTU, who was Clarkson grad, basically had the same opinion. ;) Clarkson was actually pretty good that year ('06-'07), because I remember picking them to beat UMass, until they ran into some guy named Jon Quick.

Who was he? I was an Accounting grad from CCT.

Randy Johnston (tee hee); liked to BS sports before class. He left MTU while I was still a student. Honestly, he was the only reason I got a B in Accounting I. He was not a particularly engaging instructor, but he knew his stuff, and would tell you exactly what would be on the exam; that was that. I knew what to study for, knowing there would be no nasty surprises.

EDIT: Research reveals he might've left for a similar position at UC-Boulder. If so, good for him.

After my time. Probably left when Clarkson abolished their accounting program.

That's unfortunate; accounting is pretty technical in my book. :) Though I imagine it must've been similar to MTU abolishing their mining program after 122 years - not enough students/tuition money to support the degree offering.

Re: Countdown to the End

There has to be some symmetry with accounting being discussed in an end of the world thread.

Re: Countdown to the End

While it isn't really the end of the world, it is a bit droll that JC is now believed to have been born in 4 BC.....

That's been the case for a while. Remember that Christianity is now based upon the screwed up Roman interpretation of it.

Re: Countdown to the End

Speaking of the end, I'm ready for the Zombie Apocalypse now. Got my Smith & Wesson Model 686 .357 Magnum earlier this week for close range zombie slaughter, and my .22-250 is sighted in at 200 yards. Have plenty of ammo for both (FMJ hollow points for the .357 and Hornady Superperformance Varmints for the .22-250) and also for my shotguns (birdshot, slugs and home defense rounds).
