It's not all about the number of fans you have.....it's it's about how the vast majority of your fans treat the opposing fans when watching a game at your facility, that is all. Just suggesting you all clean it up a bit.... win, lose, or draw.
Listen A-hole, we've already told you like 5 FCUKING TIMES, we don't really care if you and the rest of the badger fans want to be jerkoffs to us, we have fun on roadtrips regardless of how you treat us but as Yager pointed out personally this was his worst roadtrip. I don't really see that as being a bunch of whiney pu$$ies. We're just point out our observations based on experiences we've had in madison and comparing them to all over the country. I have actually avoided state street after a husky win before, because drunk badger fans can be very confrontational. At the same time, I have crashed on the floor of a badger fan's apartment before after a husky/badger game. All we're trying to say is the fact you guys have this "Whatever" attitude towards the vulgarity others direct to us doesn't make it ok. As Flashy Man pointed out, we hold ourselves to a higher standard at MTU and we expect the student section to represent the university well.Seriously, what a bunch of whiney p-u-s-s-i-e-s. There's no way it's even close to as bad as some of you are making it out to be.
When I go to Wrigley wearing Brewers gear, I expect to be heckled and maybe even have someone call me an a-s-s-h-o-l-e. I know this going in, so it doesn't hurt my delicate feelings and I realize that they don't actually know me, so it's not a personal attack. And even if it was, I wouldn't care. In addition, I wouldn't let the few bad apples color my opinion of the entire fan base, although EVERYONE knows that 97.87 percent of Cubs fans are complete d-bags.
I need to find these barbaric sections of our rink coz I haven't ever even heard much off color stuff, other than the student section chants. I always thought we were TOO accommodating as a fan base, and wished that we took our rivalries more seriously and had a little more teeth. You're telling me that the red sweater wearing, cheer only when something good happens, elderly donor types actually have sailor's mouths? I gotta say, I kinda like that.
I just find it hard to believe that anyone really cares enough about your program to muster the bile required to verbally assault you. I mean, your team is pathetic. If anything, I'd walk up to you and offer my condolences.
