The gas station sign that says "Justice for Floyd" over on 38th and Chicago (the memorial) just had "Justice Served" added. I need a picture of that.

Judge will have a hearing on "aggravation" in June when sentencing happens.

I don't know. The entire case of the prosecution was the knee on the neck. That goes nowhere with the other three.

They can be charged with not stopping a person who did it. They were cops, charged with keeping people safe, after all. None of the "good cops" stepped in and prevented 2nd Degree Murder.

Their inaction does. Plus any argument they were "in danger" is now dead because it was proven they could have stopped it at any time and never been at risk.

They are accessories the argument is different.

Hopefully, he does the right thing and goes home and eats his gun.

He is remanded with no bail so not gonna happen. Plus he deserves to suffer and a cop in Maximum Security is going to be about as popular as a pedo...

uno can maybe enlighten us, but once they convicted him of second degree, I don't think the third degree or the manslaughter convictions matter. Aren't they just considered lesser included offenses?

I am not speaking for him but that is how I understood it. Maybe it matters with an appeal or something.

Don't know Minnesota specifically, but generally they will "merge" into a higher crime so long as the higher crime encompasses all of the elements of the lesser crime. But say they had convicted of 2nd degree and acquitted on 3rd degree, the defense could raise an issue of inconsistent verdicts and argue for a mistrial. So they still need to go thru the motions on the lesser charges. And obviously, had they acquitted on 2nd degree the lesser charges would matter.

Dang. You must have one of those super-wham-a-dyne 4k TVs split to four screens plus watching on your phone!
