I don’t know why, but for some reason your name came up in my head when I posted that, SOH

maybe we’ve had a long talk about the MN 1st at Neat Hat’s house before.

Star Tribune reporting Boogaloo Boys have been arrested for attacking the 3rd Precinct during the riots. They fired automatic weapons yelling "Justice for Floyd" while people were inside. Guy being charged is from Texas and was connected to the guy who shot the Deputy in Santa Cruz.

So all the intelligence was correct.

Agents provocateur, just like Veritas, Rudy, et al.

I strongly suspect that less than 1% of the violence at the protests was Left political. 80% was opportunistic looting, and 20% was Right political trying to provoke popular anger against BLM.

The Tulsa race massacre began with a white lynch mob being prevented from lynching a black man by a peaceful and legal black response, and then using that as a response to claim the blacks were "rioting."

Cons and cops always use the same playbook.

Day 1 Biden should just fire everyone in ICE. The chaos would be less damage than risking any more of these gestapo tactics.

There are no good “good” agents. You’re either a nazi or you haven’t spoke up and put a stop to it.

Huh. CBP tells Congress to pound sand after CBP is found to be using tracking apps on residents in the US without any warrants. Even those outside the 100 mile zone. Even on people who are legal US citizens and have no reason to be tracked by CBP.

So, let me get this straight. Because people are frightened to miss out on the latest inane post by their twitter buddies, at all hours of the day, and absolutely must be able to share a picture of the dump Fifi took in the park that looks like Trump's hairdo, they voluntarily and without question agree to let corporations track their whereabouts day and night, and let those same corporations sell their whereabouts to anyone interested, those people are now bitter the government may have an interest in purchasing that commercially available data to see what you might be doing?

Ok.

Ok.

Pretty sure the rub is where an agency of the Government refuses to acknowledge that they're doing this, despite evidence to the contrary.

Kinda like how TikTok is a national security concern despite Facebook and Twitter monetizing user data multiple times more than TikTok ever does.

Maybe I misread your link. I thought your link reported that they acknowledged doing it but basically told Congress to pound sand when asked why they were doing it without a warrant. My response would be that if a citizen wants to drive around with an electronic beacon announcing to the world "here I am" they probably don't need a warrant.

Corporations =/= government

you let me know when google acquires a predator with hellfire missives.

Again, you give information to a corporation and specifically authorize them to sell it to whomever they choose, don't complain to me when it falls into the hands of a government, some hackers, your ex-wife, or anyone else.

Also, predator drones with hellfire missiles go to bed at night and have wet dreams over committing the type of damage Google can inflict on the public in 15 minutes.

Except it would seem CPB doesn't have the authority to do this hence why Congress is upset about it. You seem to be ignoring that. The people consenting to have their life be online and trackable arent actually consenting to the government tracking them they are consenting to letting their data be sold for ads and content. The government has no business doing that especially if there is not some national security concern. The fact they are ignoring Congress about it shows they know they are in the wrong and they just dont care.

So then I would assume you don't have a problem if the Government decides to take it a step further...if tracking data is fine why not just allow them to buy access into our files. Hey Google and Apple and Microsoft should be able to sell access to our Cloud information as well right? I mean we generically consented and if we arent doing anything wrong...

Big Brother is bad, and no it doesnt matter who is in charge doing it. These clowns especially should never be allowed to do it but it is wrong no matter what. They have already been caught spying and tracking peaceful protesters at the Floyd Protests (along with the military cause hey...that is soooooo American) and now they are just doing it to anyone. This is the stuff most of the right rips Socialist and Communist Countries for and the Left rips Authoritarian Leaders for. I dont care if people consent to having their whole lives be taped if the government is requesting or buying access to that information (if they cant just get it without the company giving it to them) they should need a warrant. The company should also disclose to all of its customers it is willingly selling user information to the Government (which they dont) for the purposes of tracking legal US citizens 24/7.

You miss Hovey's point.

Its ok if Trump or any other Republican administration does it.

If the Obama or any other Democratic administration did it, its authoritarian government overstepping, and grounds for impeachment.

Nah that sounds more like Sicatoka than Hovey. I am sure he is making that point right now while on a "road trip" for work. (to Siouxsports.com)
