Is it even news anymore when the unarmed black man survives? I bet things like this happen at least once a day in every city or town in the country with black men as part of the populace.
Yes you have to show your id...but they went way over the line. That said just show your id...

How much more evidence do people need to see that the police are the enemy? 17,000 more killings by cops than were actually reported over the last 40 years? Will that do it? In many places they are nothing more than organized hit squads operating under a blanket of protection from the law. We are no better than any third world country out there.
It isn't the number of killings that will convince them. The killings are justified because the cops said so. Most people don't think the Earps were bad guys too.
