Cops draw stun guns on UMD player

Re: Cops draw stun guns on UMD player

I guess when your team leads the NCAA's in penalties it would seem like it is being blown out of proportion....

Re: Cops draw stun guns on UMD player

I'll bring my own taser next weekend just in case he is acting up again. I don't give warnings, though.

So you own a taser gun? I suppose that's the only way to subdue one of those Husky Houghton women long enough to get her address from her ID.

Re: Cops draw stun guns on UMD player

If it weren't something he regrets doing, it probably wouldn't be worthy to be made fun of.

  • I am pretty sure I heard a lot of Vick dog fighting jokes going around teams with dog mascots... never mind, he doesn't regret the actual dog fighting, my bad.
  • And the elevator urinater NEVER got mad fun of because that is something he regrets.
  • Nor are there ever any jokes about a certain MTU player trying to run down someone with their automobile...
  • Or making fun of the entire Wisconsin for their <s>amusing</s> terrible hazing practices.

Seriously, this **** happens all the time and we all laugh about it. What is different this time? Are you seriously thinking that a single CC fan poster is going to ruin the reputation of a UMD player by starting a thread on USCHO's forum (number 1 news source for america, right?)?

You are right it DOES happen, but we never start a SEPARATE thread for it. We have always just talked about it in the team threads or the game day threads. This is my point.

Re: Cops draw stun guns on UMD player

Wasn't a thread started when Finley slashed that little pansy, Bucky?

Re: Cops draw stun guns on UMD player

Weren't a FEW threads started about Hirsch way back when?

The incident happened at a game. Seems fair for discussion to me, whether it's in its own thread or not.

Re: Cops draw stun guns on UMD player

I'm just comforted in knowing Barney Fife's got some family working in the Springs. If law enforcement doesn't pan out, they could always be busboys at the Broadmoor.

Nice reply! I find it all amusing anyway.

Re: Cops draw stun guns on UMD player

I've been shot at (not by cops), but haven't had a taser pointed at me.

Kudos to the cops for showing initiative.

A taser is one of the least scary things I've had pointed at me by police officers.

Ditto. For sleeping in my car, of all things.

Me. I've been pepper sprayed though.

Now these responses are more interesting than the UMD player....

Re: Cops draw stun guns on UMD player

True, it happened Saturday night, hopefully video will surface. In the third period of the UMD at CC game #26 Chad Huttle of UMD started a fight at center ice, was ejected from the game and was halfway to his visitor locker room in the tunnel when he became further enraged (out of control), turned around and tried to return to the ice at which time Colorado Springs police officers reportedly drew their stun guns in an effort to protect themselves and others from a crazed Chat Huttle. Thankfully Chad Huttle was escorted back to the locker room a second time by armed police officers before he reached the playing ice.[/QUOTE

Wow, way to make up crap. There was never a taser pulled out by any cops or security. Why start stuff that isn't true. Security had it handled and the cops came down to make sure the situation was under control. From what I heard, the two cops just stood there, nothing else.

Nice Try.

Re: Cops draw stun guns on UMD player

They should have let him go and start another water bottle rivalry :D I guess this is just the age we live in.

Hope he gets his head back on his shoulders. Everyone gets a free pass once.

No dude, I heard from my friend's girlfriend's previous roommate's brother that they pulled a machete and a bazooka.
