I think any of the top WCHA teams would love to play Yale
What about UND?![]()
Besides the obvious answers:
1. MN
2. MN
3. MN
...
nth: SCSU
Teams least feared right now? WI. Denver.
I think the Final 5 this year could be crazy good. Assuming all six teams come from a group that include UND, DU, UMD, UNO, MN, CC, Wis, and SCSU, anyone could win that tournament. This could easily be the year the WCHA screws a team from another conference by producing an automatic qualifier who otherwise would not have made the tournament. That would feel nice.![]()
Every Coach will tell you that the scariest team in the conference tournament will be the one they are playing.
Union will ruin someone's dreams this spring. Hopefully Yale*'s
At least Yale will be playing somewhere in four weeks, unlike Brown. The only Meehan Madness is your delusion that Brown is relevant anymore.

With the exception of Tech, I'd say any team in the WCHA could be a scary team in the playoffs, the league is just that close this season. It's looking like the two teams that fit this description in the WCHA will face each other in the first round. If it happens, I'll be pulling my hair out in bunches much like the Gopher-Mankato series in 2008.

MN is on a pretty good run right now, and they're playing with some confidence.

Who'd tUMD bone when Stalock stood on his head?
Minnesota, North Dakota and Denver
FWIW, I believe Duluth was a bubble team that only had to advance past the play-in game to make the tournament.
I think any of the top WCHA teams would love to play Yale or Union, what they don't want to see is another gd WCHA team in their path.
