We got the two biggest awards. I am not going to complain at all.
I did. And I stand by my post.
By this logic Drew LeBlanc lost his "right to be a senior" last year because he got hurt and shouldn't have even played this year...so there's that.
except DREW and Rockie are the same age![]()
But despite Williams having a better year, Wilcox still had a great freshman season and earned the buzz he was awarded by local media. I'm not really sure what your gripe is. Did St. Cloud media give as much hype to Schmidt as they did Jenson? Did Mankato media give Haula as much hype as they gave Hayes? Who do you think go more ink in the Denver Post, Boivin or LaLeggia?
Brodzinski got screwed, He and Camernessi are 19 yrs old like freshman should be.
I just created the "Good for you, you are 20 years old and a junior!" award and he won it.
I will let him know. It's really going to mean a lot to him coming from the Chris Clark fan club! Even more than being 3rd in the nation in goals scored. Awesome!
Dowd?
29 points (11G, 18A) isn't enough I guess.
Bjugstad doesn't deserve to be there IMO
That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard.Disagree. Bjugstad's stats might not be as good, but it's because they can't give assists to a third man. Bjugstad is always double teamed, so he sets up zone for the line after two more passes there is usually a goal. On the power play teams have to play a zone and Nick, simply feast's on the man advantage. Rau, Buddish, and Schmidt are all great players, but that line is only the best in the nation, because Bjugs is the quarterback who is a man among boys.

Dillon Simpson is younger than Mersch and also a junior, so the award should be named after him.
jdubbs 3.0?well it wouldn't be so stupid if you were actually watching gopher footage. Or saw what was going on. I personally would have put nic dowd over lietner. Saint cloud might have a case when it comes to kossila and brodzenski but i think they both took votes away from each other. Bjugstad definitely deserves 3rd team even more than haula deserves second team.

I am saying the statement of "if they gave out assists to three people" is stupid. A. At that point why not just give one to everyone on the ice? B. If you give them to Bjugstad, you have to give them to the other players too. How do you know he would get more than other assists?Well it wouldn't be so stupid if you were actually watching Gopher footage. Or saw what was going on. So he made it over Dowd because...everyone's double-teaming him so he can't score?
