College Football V: Bowls Are Done; Carry On My Wayward Sons

Re: College Football V: Bowls Are Done; Carry On My Wayward Sons

Miami and Florida International can play for the "Glock 9 Trophy" which is simply a gold plated Glock mounted to a base that looks like a spinner rim. The Glock will be fully functional and loaded, of course.

Amusingly, one of the reasons for the brawl between those schools according to some of the FIU players was because they knew of some of the bounties for cheap shots available, being across town and all. They should have just said something at the time.

That or at least look for some hush money and hookers.

Hey Michigan fans, guess who's coming back to open the 2014 season in the Big House (also known as Northern Boone)

The Michigan Students are going to be out for Blood in that game.

I can see that game ending with a 70+ point differential to prove a point...

You think App State is going to beat them that badly?

L$U and the BRPD have coordinated the investigation quite well so that no arrests will be made (and suspensions served) until the Tigers play their second game. The first is against Oregon. The second is against mighty Northwestern State. A caller to the Les Miles interview show managed to get past the call screener to ask two questions: Will we see any changes to the depth chart for the Oregon game as a result of the fight (shockingly, Miles said no) and then the caller asked if he was considering moving QB Jordan Jefferson to Punter after he showed off his kicking skills. Miles said they had no intention of moving him to special teams.

Warrant issued for two of the LSU players, including Jordan Jefferson.

But the Oregon game isn't here yet. They can't arrest them before the Big Game!

Re: College Football V: Bowls Are Done; Carry On My Wayward Sons

I guess at LSU it takes a second degree battery charge to get suspended from a game. Maybe Miles will post bail for them so they can play against Oregon.

They should have gone to school in the state of Alabama, where that line falls somewhere between manslaughter and 2nd degree murder.

Both players have been suspeneded indefinetly. I really cant see them playing the Oregon game. If so....well...it is the SEC so I wouldnt be suprised.

That's only at Michigan State. Dantonio picks them up as they're let out of jail and drives them to practice.
