Exactly. No problem with him going for two, just take ownership of the decision. Even if it's Bret saying, "Tim, I went for two because I hate you and your pathetic excuse for a football team", that's a lot better than blaming it on some cheat sheet.

Ciskie sent a tweet at that time saying the cheat sheet says, "You're up by 25...why are you looking at a chart?"

I'm sure what he was sayin is that he had a piece of paper that said "we hate minnesota, run up the score" and thats what he was talking about ;)

Even better, the guy he replaced, Scott Shafer (former WMU DC), is at Syracuse with a defense giving up 15.2 per game through 5.

But yeah, DickRod, it was all him.

To be fair, the offense sucked, too. It was a team effort.

Dude, would you please just link to images that big? I think you'd need to have a monitor doing HD resolution (and with the browser taking up full width) to be able to fit it in.

Auburn-Kentucky is coming down to the wire. Auburn will attempt a winning FG. 34-34 with :02 left.

LSU is just making this up as they go along, right? They are moving right down the field; then they decide to bail Florida out by going conservative; then they eschew the QB sneak on third and one; then they burn 25 seconds before calling timeout; then they call a fake field goal during which the holder tosses the ball over his head. It's a mixture of lunacy and incompetence.

That QB isn't the running QB so they tried a RB on 3rd down, albeit a slow developing play. I think the coach was right after the game, that fake could have gone for a TD with a better toss and one block on the LB coming over. The audacity of it is what made it work.

As it is, if they felt that was a better play than a 53 yd attempt, which it was, then it wasn't crazy. The great play was the slant to the 5.

Ponder to Rod Evans for 18 yards and a TD on 3rd and 10.

Florida State 38, Miami 17.

I did *not* see this coming, especially since FSU's defense last year is what made people think Jacory Harris is something other than Reggie Ball.
