Re: College Football II: The BCS hits the Fan

I'm getting Wisc/MSU on two channels (ABC/ESPN) in HD and Texas/OU on an alternate ESPN channel in what looks like a stretched out standard definition. Very blurry.

Re: College Football II: The BCS hits the Fan

are you even watching this game? Wisconsin has not turned the ball over yet...Sparty scored on a punt return TD to go up 13-10

I have the game on, but I'm only casually paying attention. Sorry, the play before the apparent punt return, it sounded like a turnover to me. :o

TD Sparty, should be 20-10 shortly. Under review/WI challenge.

Small bit of lower-division news... unfortunately, St. Thomas beats St. John's (MN) for the first time since 1997 27-26 in overtime. However, a conference attendance record was set as 16,421 showed up at Clemens Stadium. Nice crowd for a D3 tilt!

Re: College Football II: The BCS hits the Fan

whiskey tango foxtrot... Why is ESPN not putting the UM/IU game on ESPN3?

Lamesauce. Anyone have a radio stream link (if they even exist)?

Re: College Football II: The BCS hits the Fan

True that, You've got the WAC already circling around Montana in order to get them a body that would get them to be big enough to survive while the MWC is **** near a BCS conference. Divisions get hurt when a lot of their top teams leave all at once. The fans of the also-rans and just that close to being a top team lose those measuring sticks.

Well, this year perhaps. But subtract Utah and BYU at the appropriate times when they make their moves elsewhere, and potentially subtract TCU towards...well, not the "Big" conference anyone would expect, if rumors hold true, and the MWC is dead in the water BCS-wise.

I'm not going to lie, watching MSU pound in that TD made me smile just a little. Being happy about college football just doesn't come often in this area.

I'm not going to lie, I actually hope State pulls off this win. Wisconsin is definitely not living up to their ranking.

Re: College Football II: The BCS hits the Fan

Wisconsin football would like to casually remind us all why it's important to dream big and hope for that Capital One or Outback Bowl bid.

Re: College Football II: The BCS hits the Fan

Dear IU. If you can make this drive to tie it and then win the game in OT, I will write you a check.

Re: College Football II: The BCS hits the Fan

Well, it was nice of the football Badgers to remain in contention until hockey season at least.

Re: College Football II: The BCS hits the Fan

Great clock management by LSU.

And they're saved because Tennessee can't count.

LSU wins.
