I can understand a few of the selections but it seems as much a way to stir up emotion as anything else. Clemson has way worse looks than that one...don't they have the purple pants, purple shirt orange helmet look? That is not one they'll look back on fondly.

The SU uniform might make the short list, and that AF look is a bit much.

Its pretty scary when you google worst college football jerseys and it comes up with a page 2 bracket of worst jerseys in sports and then you see this:

Yeah, don't really see why Utah is on the list, unless the guy is just really PC about Hostile and abusive teams. :rolleyes:

UO may be the only campus in the country where there are more genuine Wiccans than Fundamentalist Christians.

Neither group is particularly pleasant to be around, so I say have Georgia visit and cause a riot.

Most schools have third (Nike) jerseys that suck. Florida State had an all black set, right down to black helmets, that looked stupider than hell.

All black jerseys, except the Chicago Bears, suck.

(Army had a hockey sweater in the 80's that looked black, but I think it was just a very dark blue. Those were pretty cool.)

The Bears had black jerseys?

I don't think Black jerseys suck if black is actually a school or team color - if the scheme is designed that way, it can work. Using black as a generic color for another shirt? Naw.

It's pretty common among high schools -- I would give them a pass, too.

The Bears were all black in the 50's -- navy came with (I assume) color TV.

I like black helmets though. I think that FSU one is great, as was the VT one they wore against Boise this year.

Air Force's uniforms look like a high school team.

Really? I think the FSU one is ok, but would be better if there was contrast like red pants. The VT uniforms against Boise were awful

Yeah, the uniforms weren't great. I really liked the helmets though.

Probably could have written that a little more clearly. My fault.

how does a guy coming from a VP post in a sports agency just magically become the defensive line coach at a D-1 football school? obviously something is afoul in denmark.

at first, i thought this was all marvin austin getting to be a too big fish in a small pond. but now i smell "lack of institutional control" coming on this one

Appalachian St. will consider FBS move

Not sure why they would really want to leave the SoCon right now. They would be a pretty good fit in C-USA, but only if a few of their Texas schools get raided. Just not really any room for them. And hell, can't really imagine they would be that excited to join the Sunbelt. Top to bottom, the SoCon could probably get more wins against the Sunbelt schools in head to head matchups.
