College Football 2024

Pathetic loss for Michigan. I'm tired of people trying to tell me that we should not be worried that the team won close games. Well this is exactly what happens when you STILL can't tackle. And the coverage is pathetic given the rush. Why are corners standing so far away from receivers? They are literally farther than a first down. But it doesn't matter, because they can't take good angles to tackle- which negates how good the D line is and getting sacks.

Even better, hardly an offense, because there is no quarterback. We put QB3 in, and while he managed to actually score, once that happened, he didn't do anything other than turn the ball over.

Yea, not worry, just seeing reality. Why do coaches thing NFL coaches are good back in college? We saw this movie before, the end was this.

Funny how last season's finalists are both 3-2 right now, with not much a chance to make any difference this season.

OTOH, heck of a nice win Minnesota. First win against USC since 1955? Congrats.

So TN just let AK score. With 1:17 left in the game. Like let both the running back and the QB option get into the endzone. Of of the Dback actually got out of the way. If TN doesn't score, that has to be one of the dumbest plays. Ak has a back up kicker in there.

Edit- and it doesn't work. When has that ever worked?

Two undefeated top 5 SEC teams go down. I'm sure the excuse will be how tough the SEC is, even though past seasons those were easy wins when the SEC was also the toughest conference.

I was just coming to say this.

Unranked/consistently bad SEC team beats ranked SEC team = SEC is so deep

Unranked but actually still decent team from any other conference beats ranked conference foe = that team/conference is overrated.

Guess I shouldn't be surprised given the knots they twist themselves into to justify the political candidates they also support.

When did Alaska get a college football team? And an SEC team at that?

(Arkansas is AR, Alaska is AK)

I've already seen a talking head claim that this loss won't impact bamas effort to get into the playoffs. Yea, losing to the historic worst team in the conference won't have any impact at all since they beat Ga.
