College Football 2024

Didn’t take long for ESPN to start the “is the Big Ten really that good?” talk and bring up the SOS of the SEC. Hints of it in the 2nd quarter and the main talking point of the 2nd half. Did IU have an easy schedule? Yes, but 10 of the 11 wins were double digits and six were 30+, and it’s not like they were in the 130s of SOS like Army.

I see SMU/Penn St(at noon), and Clemson/Texas(at 4) are on TNT tomorrow afternoon. It'll be interesting to see the ratings of those games against Hou/KC(at 1), and Pit/Bal(at 4:30).

I’m gonna guess there’s a reason why ESPN was gracious enough to subcontract out to TNT for those games. Especially after learning they’re OTA, not Peacock.

Funny, this morning on one of the espn channels this ship had the 30for30 about SMUs death penalty. Which now would be just fine to do.

PSU boat racing SMU should cool down that talk, but who are we kidding it won’t.

Yeesh. These results should set the campaign for 16 back by several years. Anyone still believe the best team in the land might encounter circumstances so unlucky that they are not in the top 8 at the end of the season?

20 of the 30 playoff games over the last ten years were decided by double digits. I'd bet on one in four being good each round.

Clemson started off great. Long drive ending with a touchdown. Since then...absolute blowout.

Crazy thing, Clemson's defense is supposed to be its strength.

Ferris State wins it's third DII national championship of the past four years. Maybe the FSU Admin can ask Tony A to help out with the hockey program.
