College Football 2024

- Hugh Freeze's 2022 Liberty: 49-14 L against Diego Pavia's NMSU
- Freeze's 2023 Auburn: 31-10 L against Pavia's NMSU
- Freeze's 2024 Auburn: 17-7 L against Pavia's Vanderbilt
That man is traveling the country to beat that douchebag.

ISU was on the ropes and scored late against TT to appear that they might continue their season unbeaten. Then their D lets Texas Tech drive down the field really easily in driving rain to ruin it for them. Oops.

As for my second team, they really need a D. Badly. They made a lot of mistakes and worse, a lot of lack of effort on scoring plays from Oregon. The offense is getting better, but they had to take some chances, and then when they were almost getting within a TD, they make some really odd calls inside the 10. Sadly, I think all of this is on the coaching staff for them just being out of it.

Kennesaw State put out in an official press release that their coach, Brian Bohannon, who has been the head coach of their program since it started, was stepping down.

Bohannon has since come out and said he did resign, and that he was fired. I don’t know if I’ve seen one of those “fired but not technically fired” press releases actually get disputed by a coach before.

With Norvell's $65 million buyout keeping him at Florida State until 2028 or so, he fired both coordinators and the WR coach Sunday for the bye week. More likely to follow around December 2nd.

Bringing this thread to the front- no news, just hope that some people come back to talk college football. The election sucked, but other things still go on.

Well, I certainly didn't have Buck Nuts/Hoosiers as a B1G "Game of the Year" candidate on my bingo card...

I think just about everyone will be pulling for Indiana next week.

All the teams I Passively or otherwise pay attention to are terrible. It is Central-Western week, but it is on a Tuesday, so much less exciting than it could be if it were on a weekend.

One of my teams sucks bad this year, but the other is doing OK- probably not the natty, but still has a chance for the playoffs (not the 12 team sillyness). But there are some good games, still. Wisco is putting up quite the fight against Oregon.

WMU should have beat Wisky this season leading in the 4th quarter, but they made a mistake then it snowballed into a 14 point loss. Not sure if I want the Ducks to win or not.

Not a very awe inspiring end to this game. Wisconsin didn't move the ball, Oregon failed on a 4th down attempt, and then an odd tip INT to pretty much end the game. Meh.
