Is there much case law around employee-vendor relationships? If she was outside counsel and the school was on the clock obviously he would be in trouble for a lot of reasons, but to me it sounds like their relationship was way outside the scope of any work she was doing for the school. I can’t imagine he ever coaches again at MSU but suspect the school is going to be writing him a huge check.

What the hell is wrong with you?

There is no angle conservatives won’t slice, no spin they won’t twirl, no squint that is too tight, when it comes to exuding boorish, uncivilized, cruel behavior by men. Especially if they’re white.

A state judge in Washington granted a temporary restraining order Monday to prevent the Pac-12 conference from meeting as a board later this week.

Judge Gary Libey ruled in favor of Oregon State and Washington State in Whitman County Superior Court after they jointly filed a complaint Friday that saw the potential of the Pac-12 meeting as a board and voting as an "imminent and existential threat" to the future of the conference.

The ruling for the temporary restraining order prevents a Pac-12 board meeting scheduled for Wednesday and sets up a preliminary injunction hearing that is expected to determine who makes up the voting members of the Pac-12 board of directors.

That's because in a situation like this they immediately identify with the abuser, not the victim.

It's like when they whine about losing Confederate monuments and take attacks on slave owners as a personal attack. When I read about slavery I identify with the abolitionists. It's really telling who they defend.

Poke the bear.

Deion Sanders won't have a hard time making Colorado's rivalry game this week against Colorado State feel "personal."

Rams coach Jay Norvell took a shot at Sanders' habit of wearing a hat and/or sunglasses during news conferences, saying Wednesday during his weekly radio show: "I don't care if they hear this in Boulder. I told them [ESPN] -- I took my hat off, and I took my glasses off. I said, 'When I talk to grown-ups, I take my hat and my glasses off. That's what my mother taught me.'"

I think we all know what Deion will do: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kO9jo8XkOfA

More concerned about what his football team is going to do to C State.

It's a fun story to start the year, but I just can't see this team continuing to deal with the attention they are getting. With Coach Prime, I can also see them overlooking an obviously weaker team like CSU if they start thinking they have a chance in the Playoff.

Seems like there are always games like this early in the season, where a #1 or #2 goes down a couple scores and then outscores their opponent 45-0 in the second half.

Brutal game in Ann Arbor, tonight. Three times someone has been carted off- two BG players and some person on the sideline. Hope they are all OK, as they all seem pretty serious. The first player wasn't moving his legs, but was moving his arms- and it was a pretty simple tackle he made- no idea how that happened. The second player clearly has a lower leg injury. And a bad one. No idea about the person other than he was clearly awake as he was carted off.
