ASU beats Oregon lol

It sets up a real potential for 3 SEC teams to make the Playoff, if:
1) Georgia beats LSU in the SEC Title Game;
2) Alabama beats Auburn;
3) Oregon wins the Pac12; and
4) (a) Clemson loses any of its final two games; and/or (b) Wisconsin wins the B1G.

That's how you use the meme.

So, if WI wins this week @MN and then loses to OSU, does MN make the Rose Bowl?

Gophers open as home dogs again.

The Rodney Dangerfield of college football.

Re: College Football 2019-20: It'll Just Be Alabama vs. Clemson AGAIN.

Somehow Winfield Jr. didn’t even make the Thorpe semifinalists much less the finalists.

Re: College Football 2019-20: It'll Just Be Alabama vs. Clemson AGAIN.

CFP:

1. Ohio State
2. LSU
3. Clemson
4. Georgia
5. Bama
6. Utah

I wonder how far Ohio State might fall if Michigan manages to beat them.

Re: College Football 2019-20: It'll Just Be Alabama vs. Clemson AGAIN.

538 outdoes themselves.

If you've followed them, every year with a few weeks to go they try to figure out what combination of results would create the worst possible tangle for the committee. In past years the scenarios have been tepid.

This year they created their masterpiece. They should just retire it now.

If you don't want all the details I'll give you their final probabilities for the eve of selection, in spoiler font:

Two teams in:

Clemson
Georgia

For the final two slots, six teams with exactly the same probability:

.33 Alabama
.33 Baylor
.33 LSU
.33 Michigan
.33 Ohio State
.33 Utah

Congratulations, Nate.
