I guess there are a TON of incentives to go with that contract, reportedly easily achievable. (source: Dan Barreiro, KFAN, is where I heard this).

A 4.6 mil extension was in the works to a guy who had a below .500 record at MN before the season started?
Not buying it.

OSU has beat four teams with three or fewer losses and six at least .500. Alabama has beat two teams with winning records and three .500 or higher. LSU has beat two teams with winning records and five .500 or higher.

OSU has won 386-63. Alabama 389-122. LSU 374-160.

The defense is #1 in the country and their offense is 3rd through 6th.

So LSU is playing to win the SEC west and a shot for the SEC championship, which would lead to a birth in the College Football Championship.

Or they may not, who knows.

But has USC stopped banging their heads into a brick wall for letting Ed Orgeron get away from them?? I sure hope they haven't. Given how much SC have sucked since they let Ed go and how LSU has gotten better since they kept him.

Just because they didn't want to take a chance on a coach..
