I don't know who has that "crown" in the Big Ten currently. Indiana finds a million ways to come up short, but they never have any expectations. Rutgers is just plain awful. Maybe Nebraska?

Don't you have to win to play spoiler? I thought Indiana always leads the B1G leader late in the fourth quarter and always loses?

Pretty much. Back when Michigan was good, IIRC they used to sometimes be an "almost" victim of Indiana.

Brunettes are infinitely more interesting to me than any other hair color and the possibilities of the lady wearing it are much more diverse.

Army is 30th. Interesting.

In all honesty this is the first year I can remember Notre Dame deserving their ranking (9). I was assuming I'd see us at 4 or 5 or something stupid like that.

My god college football is getting boring. Top 20 teams I have any interest at all in, not including my precious:

10. Texas (only because they've been down for so long)
11. Texas A&M
15. Utah
17. Wisconsin
17. CFU
19. Iowa

Here is the Western Carolina (a.k.a. UNC-Cullowhee) schedule:

Mercer
NC State
North Greenville <-- oh boy
Chattanooga
Gardner-Webb
The Citadel
Wofford
Furman
VMI
East Tennessee State University
Samford
Alabama

They went 3-7 last year; 1-7 in the Southern Conference.

19 feels about right for Iowa. I think they’ve got good depth and are very good on the line of scrimmage. Also have a solid secondary and a third year starting QB. Does the running game improve, and who are going to be the playmakers on offense at WR, TE, etc.? Tough schedule, could see anywhere from 7-5 to 10-2.

I always root for the I's in the B1G. It's a hideous conference in general but there's nothing worse than Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, and Pedo State.

So then you are going to root for Idaho against Pedo State, then, right? Make it a clean sweep of all the I states.

edit- too bad PSU isn't playing Illinois- has it ever happened that one team played all of the U of I schools in one season? (yea, I know IU for the hoosiers). MSU did the same 3 back in 2006- Idaho, Iowa, and Indiana- but not Illinois.
